Chocolate chip cheesecake that I made for my birthday. My mom would make this every year for my birthday. My three boys singing me happy birthday. What a and handsome family I have.

Christmas in January. Since we went to CO for Christmas and were sick for about a month. We were finally able to get together with Matt's parents to exchange gifts.

Grammy and Papa came to visit us in February and I asked if they wanted to live with us premanently, but they didn't take me up on the offer. It was so nice to have them here. We were able to get some deep cleaning done before Makaylie makes her arrival, planted some garden, enjoyed the zoo, went to the temple, ate dinner at a restaurant with just the four of us, and mainly enjoyed every minute that we got to spend with them.

Papa playing a game with Nathan. He wanted Papa to throw a stuffed animal at him to catch it and then he changed the game to dressing in "armor" and having Papa throw it at him

My warrior dressed in his armor.

DALLAS ZOO

We fed the giraffes. Nathan did not want to feed them which surprised me since that is what he remembers from the last time we came. Jared was just little when we took him last, so he was taking in all of the animals. Jared is an animal lover and was in heaven. He finally did get brave enough to hold the lettuce leaf.

Nathan loved to climb on all of the rocks and be king of the mountain. He also said his favorite part was petting the goats.

They sure do like all of those statues to climb on.

Jared loved the carousel and smiled and waved at Dad and Papa as we went by. Nathan wouldn't actually sit on the animal. Grammy had to hold him as we went around, but it was one step closer to riding than last time.

Happy Valentines!! We continued our tradition of hiding sweet tart candy hearts around the house for the boys to find.

 SOCCER TIME

It is hard to believe that Nathan is old enough for me to be a soccer mom. They grow up so fast. He had his first game and did great. He was a little confused by the rules, but he is the only one on his team that has not played before. He is on the Superhero Squad team.

Nathan warming up with Ashley (one of his coaches). You cannot see his number but he is #3. He loved getting his treats after the game and running up and down the field. Jared cheered Nathan on and when Nathan's teammates were sitting on the sidelines, Jared would take Nathan's ball and sit on it like them right next to them. It was so adorable.
