San Antonio Trip

Packing the night before for our trip.

We stayed at La Cascada a Wyndam resort that was very nice. It had an outside swimming pool and the room was very nice.

We even saw an owl on the riverwalk. I will say..this part made me a little nervous with the boys. Thank goodness Jared wanted us to hold him most of the time. We ate dinner at Saltgrass Steakhouse because we got a $50 certificate for listening to a presentation. Matt said that the steaks at Outback are better, but we also got a kids meal, appetizer, dessert, and I got soup and salad. It was nice to have a free dinner out.

SEA WORLD

Family photo as we are waiting to get inside the park. It really goes quite quickly.

Jared was very exciting to see an Elmo show, but he wanted to maintain his distance. Nathan was terrifed of the them. The entire time Jared kept saying Elmo dance. Go back.

Nathan loved the big tunnels and ropes and slides.

It is nice that they have added the sprayground since we were there last. It really helped to cool down just a bit and then go to the next event.

This was Nathan favorite part. He loved the water.

Jared got a little braver and wanted to get a little closer to cookie monster.

We rode the merry-go-round. I don't think the boys cared one way or the other. I was hoping that they would want to go on the rides, but they were not interested at all...maybe another year.

The ski show was Matt's favorite as a kid, so we wanted to make sure and make this show. I didn't get many pictures as I was chasing Jared around.

This was Jared's favorite. He still talks about Elmo dancing. We regret not getting him an Elmo souvenir.

Jared as he is watching the Elmo show.

One World show with Shamu is my favorite..if you can't tell from all of the pictures. I could watch this one over and over and never get tired of it.

The whale waving.

Nathan and Jared enjoyed riding the tricycle. Nathan would ride it down the handicap ramp and get some really good speed.

I love this picture of Jare Bear.

Children's Museum: this was probably the boys' favorite place. We could not get them to move from one activity to another because they were having so much fun. We started at this ball section and ended here as it was their favorite.

They also really liked the shopping part which was filled with aisles of food to fill the shopping carts. They also had cash registers to scan items and a little kitchen to cook.

Ahhh..giving the horse a hug.

So fun! We did Sea World when Ben and Annie were about the same ages as your kiddos! Andy loves the ski show the best also! :)
