The boys eating a popsicle together. They decided sitting on top of their kitchen set was a good idea.

Cuddle time with dad.

Nathan likes to say that Jared is his baby even though Jared is 19 months old. Sometimes Jared likes it but most of the time he refuses. Nathan is such a good big brother. When Jared wakes up crying at night, he will either take him into his room or go to Jared's room and sleep with him. Also, when Nathan wants to go into the kitchen to get a snack and it is dark or when he needs to take dirty clothes to his laundry basket, he will ask if Jared wants to go with him because he is scared. He will take Jared's hand and off they go.

4th of July Celebration at the park with our ward. This is a boy from our ward who is 2 weeks younger than Jared. Jared is so easy going and relaxed--most of the time. He is a pretty chill kiddo. You know when something is happening that he doesn't like because he will let out a blood curdling wail. He gets those lungs from my side of the family. My mom said that I use to scream so loud at church when I was a baby that the person speaking would have to stop until someone took me out. What can I say!!

At the 4th of July Celebration they had these fun wood kits to put together. Nathan did a basketball hoop and we brought one home for Jared. Nathan loved it. We also got a chance to play some ulimate frisbee which was fun.

Jared helping his daddy mow. What a big helper.

The boys fell back asleep on the couch after they woke up at 6:30AM. I couldn't resist getting a picture.

We watched sweet Savannah, so Aaron and Janene could go on a date. The boys love her and are so gentle and kind.

Jared is saying,"Ear." He loved to touch her hair and say hair too.

Nathan helping to feed Savannah.

Cuddle time with mom.

Nathan and Jared taking a nap together. They are best buds.

Jared ready for church. He looks so big to me here.

He even kept his tie on for 3 hours of church.

Yes...this is another volcano. Nathan wanted to make another paper mache volcano. He did much more of the paper mache all by himself. He also painted it for 45 minutes. Jared and Nathan also love to play with chalk outside. The downside is that they went through 8 pieces in 2 days. Nathan likes to rub it all gone and mix it with water. Then he turns the hose on full blast and washes it all away. At least he cleans up his own mess.

We brought the basketball hoop into the house as it has been so terribly hot the past couple of weeks. Jared loves balls and any type of ball but basketball is his favorite. At church he will point to the hoop during Sacrament meeting and keep saying basketball or hoop. It is crazy how fast he is growing up. Nathan has been into volleyball lately (Matt and I played on a co-ed church team-hence the interest). He has learned to bump it quite well and likes to try and set it too.
